Meet Frances

I am here to renew what no longer fits and build what is needed next, bringing structure and intent to ideas that matter. With a blend of creativity, strategy, and heart, I help ideas come to life.

What I Do — and Who I Do It For

I help organisations think clearly and act deliberately when change matters.

That might be a large organisation in the middle of a high‑stakes transformation, a growing business whose operating model is starting to creak, or a micro‑business making careful, consequential decisions about its next phase.

What they share is not size or sector, but complexity. Something important needs to shift, and the old ways of thinking or working no longer quite work.

I work across different engagement styles:

  • Interim and delivery roles, when a change needs to be led, and someone has to take responsibility for making it happen.

  • Consulting and facilitation, when organisations need structured inquiry, shared language, setup and alignment of change across people, functions, or partners.

  • Micro‑consulting, when small business owners need focused, expert thinking to make sense of a decision, rework an offer, test an idea, or see their business properly laid out.

  • Clients typically engage me at moments where change is necessary, but certainty is in short supply.

    • A transformation, integration, or systems change is approaching, or already under way, and execution feels risky or unclear.

    • Strategic ambition exists, but there is a visible gap between intent and what can realistically be delivered.

    • Leaders lack the internal bandwidth or specialist capability to drive complex change alongside business as usual.

    • A business is growing or evolving and needs its structure, services, or ways of working to catch up.

    • A founder or leadership team needs an independent view of what is really going on, beyond surface symptoms, assumptions, or internal politics.

  • I work across micro‑businesses, SMEs, and large enterprises, supporting each in different ways.

Larger organisations typically engage me to design, lead, or stabilise substantial change programmes, particularly where delivery discipline, alignment, and confidence in execution are critical.

Mid-sized businesses often engage me when change is necessary but not straightforward. This may be a positive, proactive moment, such as growth, transition, or expansion that has outpaced existing structures. Equally, it may be a need for renewal or evolution, where complexity, misalignment, or earlier success is now limiting further progress.

My work here is with leadership teams on the design and execution of change - quality decision‑making, implementation & communication planning, resource mobilisation and governance, creating the coordination needed to deliver change without disrupting day‑to‑day operations.

Smaller businesses tend to engage me for sharp, analytical input focused on decisions, structure, and direction, often at a key point where the next choices matter disproportionately.

While engagement formats differ, the work itself remains consistent, creating the conditions for effective, durable change.

  • At its core, my work is about making the invisible visible.

I help leaders externalise what they already know but cannot yet see clearly, patterns, constraints, risks, and leverage points that shape outcomes.

By turning intuitive knowledge into shared understanding, I give people the structure, language, and confidence to move forward deliberately with the transformation they need and seek.

Why Business Change Management?

Like many of us, I fell into my career sideways, through a part-time job in an IT department while waitressing and dancing professionally (yes, really).

For me, project and change management clicked immediately. It suited how my brain works: strategic, curious, detail-orientated, and built on meaningful problem-solving. I love figuring out how things work - and how they could work better. Eventually, I went full-time, trained, and made the leap to self-employment in 2018 when I launched Wrixle.

My Values

  • Excellence in the detail – I pay close attention to the small things; its my belief that that’s where the risk, the excellence and the innovation lives.

  • Empowerment over chaos – I want teams to feel steady, not scrambled. People do better work when they feel grounded, clear, and able to think. Calmness is a leadership tool.

  • Ownership – If I say I’ll do something, I own it. And I finish it.

  • Curiosity – I am interested in how things work, why they break, and what sits beneath the surface. I tend to explore until something genuinely makes sense, rather than stopping at the first workable answer.

  • Creative problem-solving – I enjoy figuring things out. Whether the challenge is practical, conceptual, or technical, I like working through complexity and finding ways forward that are thoughtful, workable, and well shaped.

More About Me

I spend a lot of my time making things. Often clothes from vintage patterns, sometimes involving couture hand-finishing techniques. I also mountain bike, love baking and cooking, and can frequently be found watching RuPaul’s Drag Race.

I am drawn to endeavour that rewards care, judgement, and skill, and I believe work should feed your soul a little. Mine does - and I bring that same spirit of craftsmanship and care to every project and transformation I lead.

Ready to Work Together?

Whether you’re an established business ready to scale, a company preparing for a major integration or transformation, or a business owner who knows “we can’t keep working like this” — I’d love to help you make change happen.
