Hello, I’m Frances.

I help businesses to Analyse, plan and Implement change and Innovation.

THE WRIXLE WAY

Focus.

Holding attention on the right things — and letting go of the rest — is often the difference between progress and stagnation.

Without focus, even the best ideas or strategies won’t land. With it, intensity and effort can be channelled to solve serious problems, fulfil visionary ambitions, and make real progress. Transformation often fails because people try to do too much, too fast, or in the wrong order. You can’t do it all — and trying to is a fool’s game. Strategy is about focus — choosing what to do, and just as importantly, what not to do.

A plan beats no plan - every, single, time.

Planning imposes order on the chaotic process of changing or doing something new. It transforms vague intentions into concrete steps. It helps us anticipate challenges, allocate resources wisely, and stay focused on what matters. Even when circumstances shift—and they often do—a well-thought-out plan gives us something to adapt, rather than forcing us to start from scratch.

Eye for the why.

Every change, every decision, every goal — they all exist for a reason.

Whether leading a change initiative or supporting a small business through new ways of working, I ask why. Why are we doing this? Why now? Why this way?

I dig. I ask questions others might avoid. I challenge assumptions.

Knowing why motivates both me and the leaders and teams I work with. I help people (re)connect with the purpose behind their plans.

Details matter.

Small details have special talents to create big problems and can easily railroad budgets, timelines, scope or quality. Balance attention to detail with an eagle’s point of view for optimum delivery.

Change is fast, transition is slow.

I’m a big fan of the Bridges approach to transition. Acknowledging the transition that people experience during change is key to successfully realising benefits, mitigating the risks of change and sustaining it long-term.

Create conditions for success.

Success is different in every context, but creating the conditions for success is the heart of transformation. Designing environments, systems, and structures that enable delivery to happen and success to occur.

[Co-]Creative.

Change, innovation, and entrepreneurship demand imagination — the ability to see and bring to life what doesn’t yet exist.

Co-creation to me, means combining perspectives and building shared understanding together. It’s a way of working that respects diverse expertise, invites imagination, and makes space for experimentation. The result is always better ideas and superior execution.

How I work

At the heart of my work is disciplined project delivery and human-centred change leadership. I lead people through change and I finish what I start. Clients describe me as the “glue” in a project: the centre of the wheel, connecting all the spokes.

Four core strengths define my style:

  1. Leadership - Rallying people toward a common purpose, even across departments or vendors.

  2. Communication - Cutting through jargon, resolving confusion, and getting everyone on the same page.

  3. Planning - Predicting what’ll happen in the weeks ahead and preparing now to avoid costly surprises later.

  4. Organisation - Capturing every detail, every deadline, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

While the work is high-stakes, the atmosphere doesn’t have to be. I create environments where teams and business leaders feel confident, informed, and calm — even when the project or goal is complex.

EXPERTISE

Complex project management

Transformational or innovation projects often start with uncertainty and scale that can feel overwhelming. I help organisations cut through complexity, align around purpose, and move decisively from idea to implementation to impact.

By tailoring delivery methodologies to the project, context, and client, I ensure projects are not just initiated—but successfully executed.

Project delivery functioning

Client-facing projects must deliver—on time, on budget, and with confidence. When delivery falters, it erodes profit, drains resources, and risks client trust.

I help businesses get their fee-earning project delivery function in order by combining project thinking with operational rigour. Whether through process design, team mentoring, or project assurance, I create flexible, reliable frameworks that enable consistent, confident, profitable delivery—again and again.

Business change

Change can be unsettling, but in today’s fast-moving environment, it’s also essential. Organisations must continually adapt to shifting market dynamics, emerging technologies, and evolving customer expectations.

I help businesses strengthen their investment in change by designing not only how it’s delivered, but how it’s sustained. My approach ensures that transformation is embedded, scalable, and aligned with long-term strategic priorities—so change becomes a capability, not just a project.

Strategy implementation

Bold strategies only create value when they’re executed well. I help organisations turn vision into reality by identifying high-impact initiatives, prioritising effectively, and setting up the structures, resources, and rhythms that sustain momentum.

My approach ensures strategic intent translates into action, by shaping clear, actionable roadmaps and guiding delivery every step of the way.
